Catherine Verdi is the founder and lead counselor of Launch U, where she combines her passion for data-driven insights with a personalized approach to college planning. She holds a BA in Mathematics and English from the University of Pennsylvania and an MS in Applied Mathematics (Data Science concentration) from Villanova University. As an AP Mathematics teacher (Calculus AB, BC, and Statistics), Catherine deeply understands advanced coursework and student academic needs. Through extensive research on admissions data, she developed Launch U’s proprietary model to guide families in selecting best-fit colleges.
Her unique ability to connect and relate with both students and parents brings ease and joy to the college admissions process, ensuring families feel supported and confident at every step.

Dolores Freeland is a dedicated educator and advocate for student success with over 20 years of teaching, mentorship, and program development experience, and more than 12 years in college and career planning. She is passionate about equity in education—having guided students to secure over $350,000 in additional scholarships and financial aid. Dolores has launched impactful initiatives like STEM programs, financial literacy workshops, and college-career readiness training. Her skills in grant writing, community outreach, and institutional advancement ensure students and families have the resources they need to succeed. Currently a high school math teacher, Dolores continues to empower students with academic and test-taking strategies, fostering confidence in their future success. She is committed to making higher education accessible and attainable for every student.
